What do we mean when we say dominant thoughts?
These are Habitual thoughts, one which are anchored in your Autopilot Brain. These are pattern based… the triggers of these thoughts lie in our environment, our surroundings.
When you go into a particular place, the things around, the people around, the demands of that environment stimulates certain Pre-saved, patterned thoughts.
When you are at home, when you are in office, in a shopping mall, with friends, with relatives, you almost have a dominant thought-set. When I say you police station, fire station, hill station, railway station or restaurant… you have a set of thoughts that come automatically.
Important question is… is your Dominant thought pattern positive or negative? Weather it is self-empowering or self-sabotaging? If you can detect what Emotions, Feelings or Mental states that a particular thought-set is giving… we can actually become aware whether they need to be changed or retained.
If you could detect the associated pattern and if you could rule out the negative patterns or thought-set then you might have a need to change them…
So, to Change negative dominant thoughts, detect what stimulates thought-set. In a particular surrounding change the placement of things that trigger particular thought-set. If a person is responsible, reframe the person negating negative behaviours, change the way you respond by reducing reactivity.
Once you can detect the Anchors and Triggers, you can think of ways to Change the thoughts by creating awareness about your internal auto-response programming.
